Charlario ("the service", "we") is an independent web tool, operated by Facilon (an independent business based in Costa Rica), that converts chat export files into PDF documents. By using it you agree to these terms.
1. What the service does
Charlario reads a chat export file (.txt or .zip) that you provide and creates a PDF inside your own browser. We never receive, store or see the content of your chats.
Charlario only converts your own chat export file, the .txt or .zip that WhatsApp itself gives you through its official "Export chat" feature. The file is processed locally in your browser. Charlario is not a downloader or scraper: it does not connect to WhatsApp, to Meta or to any account, asks for no login, and cannot read or download chats from anyone's phone or account. Charlario is not affiliated with WhatsApp or Meta.
2. Your responsibilities
- Only use chat exports you created yourself from your own account, or that a participant gave you willingly, and that you have the right to keep and use. Respect the privacy of the other participants and the laws of your country.
- Don't use the service for illegal purposes, harassment, monitoring other people or to violate anyone's rights.
- Keep your original export file. The PDF is a readable copy, not a replacement.
3. Free preview and paid PDF
The free preview includes the first 200 messages with a watermark. The full PDF is a one-time payment per chat (not a subscription), at the price shown on the page for your language: US$4.99 for one chat or US$9.99 for a 3-chat pack (Spanish and Portuguese pages: US$3.49 and US$6.49). Taxes may be added at checkout depending on your country. Very long chats may be delivered as several PDF volumes. The full PDF is a digital product delivered immediately in your browser after payment.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Creem (creem.io). Creem is the merchant of record for all our orders: it processes the payment, collects any applicable sales tax or VAT, issues the receipt and handles returns. The charge appears on your statement as CREEM.IO*. Creem's terms also apply to the payment.
4. No legal advice
Charlario is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. We can't guarantee that a PDF will be accepted as evidence by any court or authority. Ask a lawyer in your country.
5. No affiliation
Charlario is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta Platforms, Inc. Trademarks belong to their owners and are mentioned only to describe compatibility.
6. Warranty and liability
The service is provided "as is". We work to make it accurate, but we don't guarantee the result will be error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the PDF in question.
